Who is responsible

Teleshop is a product of Girar Technology. Girar Technology is responsible for the data described here. Contact: contact@girarit.net.

This policy covers the Teleshop bot where shop owners sign up, every shop bot that Teleshop runs, the dashboard at app.teleshop.girarit.net and this website.

Each shop decides what it sells and handles its own customers' orders. If you have a question about a specific order, you can also ask the shop directly.

What we store and why

If you order from a shop's bot (customers)

• Your Telegram user ID, name and username, as Telegram provides them: to know who placed the order and to send you order updates.
• The phone number you share at checkout: so the shop can reach you about your order.
• Your order: items, quantities and prices, the pickup time you chose, your pickup code, and the amounts the shop records as received or owed back to you: to prepare and hand over your order.
• Your payment screenshot, stored as a Telegram file_id: so the shop can check your payment. The image itself stays on Telegram's servers; we keep only the reference to it.
• Your chosen language: to talk to you in it.

If you run a shop (shop owners)

• Your Telegram user ID and name, and your username if you have one: to sign you in and send you your shop's orders.
• Your shop's name and its bot token: to run your shop's bot.
• Your catalog: categories, products, prices, descriptions and photos (stored as Telegram file_ids; the images stay on Telegram's servers).
• The payment details you enter: bank name, account holder's name, account number, pickup address and payment instructions, which are shown to your customers at checkout.
• Your subscription status: trial and subscription dates and records of your Telegram Stars payments.
• If you use the referral program in the Teleshop bot: your referral codes and the credits you have earned.

The bots also keep some technical data: where you are in the checkout, kept for up to 7 days, and simple daily visit counts for each shop bot.

What we never collect

• No card data. Customers pay by bank transfer in their own banking app, straight to the shop's bank account. Teleshop never receives, holds, moves or verifies that money.
• Subscription payments in Telegram Stars are processed by Telegram. We only receive Telegram's confirmation that a payment was made.

Who can see it

• The shop. A shop owner, and anyone they add as an admin of their shop, sees their own customers' orders, names, usernames, phone numbers and payment screenshots, in order to fulfil orders. Shops cannot see other shops' data.
• Girar Technology, as the operator, can access the stored data to run, support and fix the service.
• Telegram. All bot messages, photos and screenshots travel through Telegram and are covered by Telegram's own privacy policy.
• Anthropic, only if a shop owner uses the optional "Write description" tool in the dashboard: the product name and notes the owner types are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to draft product descriptions. No customer data is sent.

We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.

Cookies and analytics

This website (teleshop.girarit.net) sets no cookies and uses no analytics or third-party scripts. Like any website, the servers that deliver it record technical request data, such as IP addresses, in their logs.

The dashboard (app.teleshop.girarit.net) sets one cookie to keep you signed in. Its sign-in button is Telegram's login widget, provided by Telegram.

Where it is stored and for how long

Data is stored on a server rented by Girar Technology. Encrypted backup copies may also be kept with a cloud storage provider. Photos and payment screenshots stay on Telegram's servers.

We keep a shop's data until its owner deletes the shop in the Teleshop bot, or until someone asks us to delete their data. A paused shop, whose trial or subscription has ended, is kept so that its owner can renew it.

When a shop owner deletes their shop, the shop, its catalog, its orders and its payment history are deleted. Backup copies are deleted within 14 days.

Your choices

• Email contact@girarit.net to ask what we hold about you, to correct it or to have it deleted.
• Shop owners can delete their shop and all its data at any time in the Teleshop bot (My Shops, then Delete Shop).
• Customers can change their language in any shop bot with the 🌐 Language button.
